  • Berenberg downgrades GBG to hold after unexpected customer churn in the US

    Berenberg cut its rating on GBG from buy to hold and lowered the price target from 260 to 190 pence after the company revised its revenue growth forecast for fiscal 2027 down from mid-single-digit growth to 1–3%. The reason is an unexpectedly high loss of key customers in the US; additionally, Tom Schutz is leaving the group as chief revenue officer Americas.     GB Group shares fell about 25.2% in trading after a significant profit warning. Management cited unexpectedly high customer churn in the Americas Identity division and cut full-year revenue growth guidance from previously mid-single-digit percentages to 1–3%.
