Krones: Sales and earnings slightly down at start of year, order intake rises

Krones reported a currency-driven sales decline of 2.2% to about €1.38 billion in the first quarter; on a like‑for‑like basis revenues rose 1.4%. EBITDA fell slightly to €148.9 million, while the operating margin improved to 10.8%. Order intake was around €1.51 billion, up 5.3% year‑on‑year, and the order backlog increased to about €4.3 billion. KRONES raised its dividend by €0.20 to €2.80 per share when presenting the final financial figures.
