Nine Entertainment reports strong growth in FY 2026, stock rises 9.5%

Nine Entertainment reported for fiscal year 2026 continuing operations revenue of AUD 2.2bn, EBITDA of AUD 379m (+17%) and EPS of AUD 0.093 (+11%). Streaming business Stan delivered a record EBITDA of AUD 81m (+34%), QMS Media contributed materially with pro‑forma revenue growth, and the company significantly reduced recurring costs. Management sees outdoor advertising, streaming, digital publishing and AI licensing as the main growth drivers and expects further pro‑forma revenue and EBITDA growth in 2027; net debt stands at AUD 658m. Nine Entertainment takes over outdoor advertiser QMS Media for A$850 million, furthering its shift toward digital media. The company aims to raise the digital share of revenue to over 60% by fiscal 2027 (from around 45% in 2025). At the same time, Nine is selling its radio stations, including 2GB and 3AW, to the Laundy Family Office for A$56 million.
