Artelo Biosciences completed a private placement, generating gross proceeds of approximately $11.0 million from the sale of 3,188,407 common shares as well as pre-funded warrants and additional warrants. The combined purchase price was $3.45 per share/warrant; H.C. Wainwright & Co. served as sole placement agent. The company intends to use the net proceeds for working capital, general corporate purposes and to repay certain bridge financings; the warrants could generate an additional $20.4 million in gross proceeds if fully exercised.
