Jasper Therapeutics completes the acquisition of Kira Pharmaceuticals in an all‑stock deal and conducts a private placement of non‑voting convertible preferred shares raising approximately $132 million gross. The financing, led by Affinity Asset Advisors and Ikarian Capital, is intended to fund operations into the second half of 2028; Jasper currently has a low market capitalization of about $21.95 million. Kira also licenses two assets to Mirador Therapeutics for a $12 million upfront payment plus milestones. The combined company will focus on three main programs (KP‑104, briquilimab, KP‑701); after the transaction former Jasper investors hold ~6.68%, Kira investors ~49.86% and the private placement investors ~43.46% of common stock on a fully diluted basis.
