Nick Hampton, CEO of Tate & Lyle for eight years, is reportedly preparing to resign, according to industry sources. The company is said to be working with executive search consultants on finding a successor; a departure could take place later this year. Since Hampton took office the stock has fallen about 34 percent, it dropped 42.3 percent in 2025, and the company had guided to a slight decline in revenue and core profit for the fiscal year.
