VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 22, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Imperial Ginseng Products Ltd. (TSXV: IGP) (the “Company”) today announces it has declared a cash distribution of $2.25 per common share (the “Distribution”) to the holders of record at the close of business on January 12, 2024, payable on January 26, 2024. Because the Distribution is greater than 25% of the trading price of the Company's common shares on the declaration date, it will be subject to the “Due Bill” trading requirements of the TSX Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”). Accordingly, the Exchange requires that the Company's shares trade on a “Due Bill” basis from January 11, 2024 to January 26, 2024, inclusive (the “Due Bill Period”). This means that sellers who sell shares during the Due Bill Period will also sell their entitlement to the Distribution. The Company's shares will trade on an ex-distribution basis (i.e., without an attached “Due Bill” entitlement to the Distribution) from the opening of trading on January 29, 2024.
