(Nasdaq: BFRI) (“Biofrontera” or the “Company”), a biopharmaceutical company specializing in the development and commercialization of photodynamic therapy (PDT), today announced the enrollment of the final patient in its Phase 3 clinical trial evaluating Ameluz® (aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride) for the treatment of mild to moderate actinic keratoses (AKs) on the extremities, neck and trunk. Actinic keratosis is a common skin condition found on sun-exposed areas of the body, and if left untreated, may progress to squamous cell carcinoma.
