AB Dynamics appoints Edward Haycock as group CFO

Edward Haycock will join the board of AB Dynamics as group finance director on 1 September 2026 and, after a handover period with interim CFO Andrew Lewis, will take over as group CFO on 1 December 2026. Haycock is currently director of financial reporting, has been with AB Dynamics for two years and previously held various finance roles at the Chemring Group. AB Dynamics confirms annual EBITA despite write-down after China problems

AB Dynamics reports H1 2026 revenue of £49m and order intake of £64m; the order book rose to £47m, covering 70% of the revenue expected for 2026. The testing services business in China delivered about 50% less volume than expected, prompting AB Dynamics to record a predominantly non-cash impairment charge of around £16m and to launch a strategic review of that division. AB Dynamics appoints Andrew Lewis as interim CFO

AB Dynamics has appointed Andrew Lewis as interim chief financial officer with immediate effect while the company searches for a permanent CFO. The appointment follows Sarah Matthews-DeMers's promotion to CEO; Lewis has CFO experience at listed companies, most recently at Chemring and previously at Avon Rubber. A trading update confirmed rising order intake and supports forecasts: revenue of £114.7m in 2025, expected £123.2m in 2026 and £133.0m in 2027; adjusted earnings per share are also projected to increase.
