Agilon Health significantly beats Q2 expectations and raises full‑year outlook
Agilon Health reported adjusted earnings of $1.04 per share in Q2 2026 (expectation $0.08) and revenue of $1.49 billion (expectation $1.44 billion), and subsequently raised its full‑year guidance for revenue, medical margin and adjusted EBITDA. The medical margin rose to $197 million and adjusted EBITDA to $70 million, despite a deliberate 12.3% reduction in Medicare Advantage membership. Management attributes the strong results to stricter contract discipline, improved risk adjustments and favorable cost trends.
