Arizona Sonoran completed a non‑brokered private placement of C$10.4 million in which Hudbay Minerals exercised pre‑emptive rights to subscribe for 3,111,089 common shares at C$3.35 per share, securing a 9.99% stake. The shares are subject to a four‑month hold period and the transaction is subject to final approval by the Toronto Stock Exchange. Following this and a prior bought‑deal placement, the company has about US$100 million in cash and 208,656,359 common shares outstanding.
