AusQuest: Cangallo copper project in Peru grows with every drilling campaign

AusQuest presented the large-scale porphyry copper discovery Cangallo, near Peru’s coast, at the Resources Rising Stars Conference, saying the mineralisation expands with each drilling programme and remains open in all directions. Drilling shows near-surface mineralisation to at least 350–450 m depth with typical Cu grades of 0.3–0.5% and some higher-grade intervals; the upper 250–300 m are oxidised and could be suitable for heap leaching. The project benefits from proximity to the Pacific, the Pan‑American Highway and existing power lines; AusQuest has >6 million AUD in cash, expects further approvals and plans deeper drilling and metallurgical tests for further evaluation. » Mere på de.investing.com
