Avio stock rises after MBDA order and Ariane-6 success

Avio shares rose 3.1% to €35.23 after the company announced a production contract worth more than €35 million with MBDA for solid rocket motors and aerodynamic surfaces for the ASTER-30 system. The four-year contract strengthens Avio’s position in the European defense sector. At the same time, Avio’s P160C solid boosters powered the first operational Ariane-6 flight, which successfully delivered 36 Amazon satellites into low Earth orbit.
