BAE Systems wins $473 million contract for 40 M109A7 Paladin howitzers

BAE Systems has won a $473 million contract to produce 40 additional M109A7 Paladin self-propelled howitzers, as well as M992A3 ammunition carrier vehicles and accompanying technical support packages. The award was made in September by Army Contracting Command Detroit and is the first award under a five-year agreement. BAE Systems receives $1.7 billion U.S. Navy contract for APKWS guidance kits

BAE Systems won a five-year framework contract with a maximum value of $1.7 billion to deliver APKWS laser‑guidance kits to the U.S. Navy; the initial order is $322 million. The contract enables production of tens of thousands of kits that convert unguided 2.75‑inch rockets into laser‑guided precision weapons and are compatible with existing rocket motors, warheads, and fuzes. BAE Systems receives defense contracts worth $215 million

BAE Systems has received two contract modifications totaling about $215 million. A $198.4 million adjustment covers production of 240 armored multipurpose vehicles and raises the total contract to nearly $2.48 billion; the work in York, Pennsylvania, is expected to be completed by May 31, 2028. A further $16.7 million adjustment covers specialty tools and test equipment for the Joint Strike Fighter; most of the work will be performed in Loveland, Colorado, and is expected to end in June 2029.
