At IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, BAIC FOTON announced a Europe strategy centered on international expansion, new energy and smart technologies, and a stronger local presence. BAIC FOTON presented seven vehicles and six core components at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, including the battery-powered heavy-duty truck CAVAN BEACON with an 800‑V on‑board network, megawatt charging technology and a 1+3+2 VDCU sensor architecture for advanced driver assistance. The company also unveiled PHEV and battery models for long haul, urban logistics, last‑mile delivery and public transport, including GALAXUS R9 PHEV, DAYSTAR, CAVAN C1, eGALAXUS D3, eAURORA bus and TUNLAND V9 PHEV. The new heavy‑duty model CAVAN BEACON is based on a multi‑technology platform for battery and fuel‑cell powertrains, is targeted to offer more than 600 km (battery) and over 1,000 km (fuel cell) range, and supports up to 1.44 MW charging power (20–80% in around 18 minutes under certain conditions).
