Morgan Stanley downgrades Beiersdorf to 'Underweight' and cuts target to €77

Morgan Stanley lowered its price target for Beiersdorf from €84 to €77 and downgraded the rating from 'Equal-weight' to 'Underweight'. DAX plunges 3.4 percent — Beiersdorf falls nearly 20 percent

The DAX lost 3.4 percent on Tuesday, closing at 23,790.65 points, with 39 of 40 index components in the red. The only gainer was Deutsche Börse stock, up 2.6 percent. Beiersdorf fell 19.8 percent after reporting results and issuing a cautious outlook, while Schaeffler tumbled by more than 20 percent. Beiersdorf expects only flat to slightly rising organic sales growth in 2026 and an operating profit margin slightly below last year’s level, prompting a sharp fall in the share price.
