Beximco Pharmaceuticals: court hearings in BSEC dispute postponed until after April

Hearings on two lawsuits challenging orders by the securities regulator BSEC will not begin until after April 18 because of the court vacation of the High Court Division of Bangladesh. Beximco Pharmaceuticals: GDR trading on AIM suspended from 2 January 2026

Beximco Pharmaceuticals is temporarily suspending trading of its Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) on the AIM in London from 2 January 2026 because it cannot publish its annual results for the year ended 30 June 2025 on time. The delay is caused by a postponement in convening a board meeting, due to a pending High Court proceeding in Bangladesh concerning the appointment of additional independent directors; the case must be reheard after the judicial benches are reconstituted. Beximco Pharmaceuticals delays quarterly results again over board dispute

Beximco Pharmaceuticals has applied to Bangladesh’s securities regulator (BSEC) for an extension to publish its Q1 figures until 30 September 2025. The reason is an ongoing legal dispute over the composition of the board after the BSEC proposed appointing nine additional independent non-executive directors.
