Casio unveiled the MRG-D5000-BDR, a 20-piece limited quartz G-Shock with a multi-part bezel and case made from blue sapphire glass, priced at €80,000. For Q4 of fiscal 2026 Casio reported revenue of ¥68.26 billion, above analysts’ estimate of ¥67.95 billion. Operating income rose 63.4% year-on-year to ¥4.9 billion, ordinary income increased 85.8% to ¥5.4 billion, while profit attributable to owners fell by 26%. The stock dropped 1.02% in after-hours trading to ¥1,694 and continued to decline in subsequent sessions. Casio unveiled the S100X, a luxury calculator finished with traditional Japanese lacquer by Yamakyu Shitsuki; a master artisan, Ryuji Umeda, spent about a month on each piece. The S100X is limited to 650 units worldwide and priced at ¥99,000 (around $624).
