Flowtech Fluidpower raises revenue in first half by 24% thanks to acquisitions

Flowtech Fluidpower reported a 24% increase in revenue for the first half to £70.40m, which the company attributes to recent acquisitions and market share gains across all regions. Flowtech Fluidpower has informed shareholders by circular about announced plans to raise capital, a planned acquisition and a plan to restructure capital. Flowtech Fluidpower raises £9m via share placing to finance growth

Flowtech Fluidpower raised around £9m by placing 16,981,132 new ordinary shares at 53 pence each; the placing price is 11.5% below the closing price on 19 January. The new shares would represent about 21.2% of the enlarged share capital on admission. Several board members, including Chairman Roger McDowell, subscribed for shares totalling £233,148; major shareholders Odyssean Investment Trust and Harwood Capital bought 2,818,000 and 1,746,000 shares respectively.
