Forvia announces focus on electronics and seats, Hella lighting business to be restructured

Forvia CEO Martin Fischer says the company has aligned its portfolio to the growth areas of electronics and seats and plans to significantly shorten development cycles by strengthening local teams, especially in China. The former Hella lighting business is undergoing a transformation: premium LEDs have become standard, so Forvia is introducing platforms and modules and will have to rebuild growth in the lighting market. To stabilize operations, Europe-wide cost reductions are under way including up to 10,000 job cuts; strategically, Fischer is calling for clear local-content rules to retain value creation in Europe. » Mere på wiwo.de
Forvia Hella: CFO Philippe Vienney will not remain beyond the end of his contract in 2027

Philippe Vienney, CFO of Forvia Hella since March 2024, does not want to extend his contract beyond 28 February 2027 for private reasons. The succession in executive management is still open; the company said it will inform promptly. Forvia Hella loses CFO Philippe Vienney – successor not yet decided

The 60-year-old Philippe Vienney will not extend his contract, which runs until February 2027, for personal reasons and will therefore step down as Forvia Hella’s chief financial officer.
