Future plc appoints Investec and Peel Hunt as joint financial advisers

Future plc has appointed Investec Bank plc and Peel Hunt LLP with immediate effect as joint financial advisers and corporate brokers. The media company runs about 170 brands and generates revenues from advertising, e‑commerce affiliates, and subscriptions and magazine sales. Future cuts full-year forecast after Google traffic shift

Future announces a reduction of its full-year forecast by 15–20% and now expects an EBITDA margin of 25–27% for 2026 instead of the previously forecast 30%. An EBITDA margin of 24–25% is forecast for the first half of the year. The reason is a larger-than-expected shift of traffic generated via Google, which is weighing on margin-rich revenue sources such as programmatic advertising and e-commerce. Future raises dividend despite revenue decline — shares surge

Future reported a 6% revenue decline for the full year to £739m, with an adjusted operating profit of £205m and an EBITDA margin of 30%. The company increased the dividend fivefold; net debt stands at £276m (leverage 1.3x).
