Growthpoint raises dividend for 2026, warns of weaker growth in 2027

Growthpoint increased distributable earnings per share by 4.3% to 152.6 cents and raised the dividend for 2026 by 7.4% to 133 cents. Net asset value per share rose by 3.8%, the loan-to-value ratio improved to 38.7%; net rental income in South Africa grew like-for-like by 4.4%. Growthpoint sells entire 14.2% stake in NewRiver REIT for £50.5 million

Growthpoint Properties Limited has completed the sale of its entire 14.2% stake in NewRiver REIT plc, disposing of 67.4 million ordinary shares at 75 pence each for gross proceeds of £50.5 million. The placing was conducted, according to the announcement, with strong interest from existing and new investors; Panmure Liberum Limited acted as sole bookrunner and settlement is scheduled for 15 August 2025. Growthpoint plans sale of around 47.7 million NewRiver shares at 75p each

Growthpoint Properties Limited will sell approximately 47.7 million ordinary shares of NewRiver REIT plc in an accelerated bookbuild at 75 pence per share, representing most of its previous 14.2% holding. NewRiver has said it intends to buy back up to around 47.7 million of the placed shares; Panmure Liberum is sole bookrunner and NewRiver will receive no proceeds from the secondary placing.
