Hua Hong rises 60% in four weeks after AI‑chip demand

Hua Hong rises sharply after planned takeover of Huali Microelectronics and positive analyst assessments

Hua Hong’s stock climbed strongly over a few weeks after management talks with Goldman Sachs and a revaluation of the Chinese semiconductor sector sparked demand optimism. Hua Hong plans to increase its stake in Huali Microelectronics to 97.4988% for 8.27 billion Renminbi and to finance the takeover by issuing new shares; an additional capital increase of up to 7.56 billion Renminbi is also planned.
