Karoon Energy reports solid H1 2026 with USD 244.9m revenue and 97% FPSO efficiency

Karoon Energy reported revenue of USD 244.9 million for H1 2026 and an adjusted NPAT of USD 29.2 million. The Baúna FPSO reached 97% efficiency following a revitalisation and maintenance campaign; taking over operatorship is expected to deliver structural cost savings. Who Dat East was approved, with first production planned for H2 2028, and an interim dividend of 1.2 AUD cents per share was declared. Karoon Energy posts 19% revenue decline in second half of 2025

Karoon Energy reported revenue falling from USD 776.5m to USD 628.6m (-19%) in the second half of 2025 due to lower commodity prices and reduced sales volumes. The company maintained strong cash generation with operating cash flow of USD 231.3m and a cash margin of over 65% per BOE, and cut unit production costs to USD 13.20/BOE. Karoon produced 10.3m BOE, announced a fully franked final dividend of AUD 0.031 per share for 31 March 2026, and the share price fell 2.45% to AUD 1.635 after the results.
