Dr. Joachim Damasky, CEO and board member of LION E-Mobility, will retire effective 31 January 2027 and will also leave the board. LION E-Mobility reported a significant revenue decline in the first half of 2026, caused by customers bringing forward orders at the end of 2025 and a two-month production halt to upgrade for the new NMC+ platform. EBITDA remained positive, but lower sales volumes and higher input costs weighed on cash generation and earnings. Series production of the new 53‑kWh NMC+ pack began at the end of June; automation steps are scheduled to be completed by the end of September.
