Mainova warns: power capacity in Frankfurt limits expansion of data centers

Mainova says new high-power electricity connections in Frankfurt probably won't be available again until the mid-2030s. The reasons are necessary line construction, extensive inner-city upgrade needs, complex permitting processes and a shortage of skilled workers, which make grid expansion time- and resource-intensive.
