Maisons du Monde reports sales decline and announces restructuring plan for 2026

Maisons du Monde reported Q4 2025 sales of €278.1m (-5.9%) and full-year sales of €947.3m (-5.4%). Online sales fell more sharply (-10.1% in the quarter; -10.5% for the year) than brick-and-mortar, with France weaker than southern Europe. For 2026 the company plans additional cost savings of €30m (bringing total savings to €120m for 2024–2026), store-network optimizations, improvements in inventory management, a redesign of the online experience, and product and designer initiatives. Maisons du Monde reported Q3 2025 sales of €224.7m, up 4.9% year-on-year and +5.9% like-for-like. Drivers were decorative items (+7.4%) and brick-and-mortar retail (+7.9%), which accounts for 72.8% of total sales; online sales rose 1.1%. International business grew 8.0% to €104.5m, NPS improved to 56, and the store network comprises 331 locations.
