Rathbones has issued £60 million of subordinated tier-2 bonds to strengthen its capital structure, fund general corporate purposes and refinance existing £40 million of tier-2 bonds from 2021. The bonds are listed on the London Stock Exchange’s International Securities Market under the ticker RATLN, mature on 9 December 2036 and include a three-month call at par exercisable between 9 September and 9 December 2031. Rathbones has completed the buyback programme launched on 17 June 2026 for up to £20m, acquiring a total of 939,315 ordinary shares that have been or will be cancelled. The average price paid per share was £16.221275. The programme was ended because Investec reached the agreed thresholds (voting interest 29.90%, economic interest 41.25%). Rathbones reports Q1 net outflows of £0.8bn, of which £0.5bn occurred in Wealth Management (gross outflows £3.2bn). Adjusted for execution-only business and a tax-related £0.2bn outflow, flows in Wealth Management were almost balanced; in Asset Management net outflows were around £0.3–0.4bn.
