WISeQey and its subsidiary Sealsq have signed a binding merger agreement with SPAC GigCapital8 to spin off and list their quantum platform Quantisimo on Nasdaq. Upon closing, Quantisimo is to be valued at about $666.1 million; WISeQey and Sealsq will receive a total of 66.61 million shares in the new holding. SEALSQ reported H1 2026 revenue of $11.2m (up 131% year‑on‑year) and a net loss of $27.8m, with revenue missing the $14.9m guidance by 26.2%. Gross profit and margin rose significantly to $5.4m and about 48%, while operating expenses increased due to acquisitions, write‑downs and strategic investments, which widened the loss. The company confirms its full‑year guidance of $27–36m and highlights continued development of its post‑quantum and quantum‑security products and a strong liquidity position of about $488.5m. SEALSQ chief Carlos Moreira has been appointed to the World Law Foundation’s board of trustees and proposes creating a permanent AI chapter within the World Jurist Association. The chapter would bring together lawyers, regulators, AI companies, academia and civil society and translate the HUMAN-AI-T principles into operational rules, assessment procedures and regulatory recommendations.
