Sunrise Resources announces its intention to raise capital by issuing new securities through the AIM Rules Capital Access Window facility and has temporarily suspended trading in its ordinary shares from today at 7:30am to ensure price stability. The transaction is being arranged by AlbR Capital; net proceeds are intended to fund geophysical work on the Lake and Reese Ridge projects, drilling preparations including permits, and, depending on funds raised, possible test drilling. Sunrise reports a Q2 revenue decline of 2.6% to CHF 712.9 million and adjusted EBITDAaL that fell 3.8% to CHF 244.4 million. The net loss narrowed markedly to CHF 22.4 million, supported by currency effects on financial income and expenses. Customer numbers rose net (+21,000 mobile, +3,000 internet subscriptions) and management is cutting costs, announcing the reduction of 147 positions. Sunrise Resources has regained control of the Hazen project in Nevada after a major US company did not exercise or extend its purchase option by January 8, 2026. The non-core project contains glassy pumice that, according to laboratory tests, exceeds the ASTM-C618 specifications for natural pozzolan and could also be usable as a light aggregate.
