Alpha Compute has appointed Mike Huskins, effective immediately, as an independent member of the board of directors and as a member of the audit committee. At the Canaccord Growth Conference, Twilio said the shift to pure communications infrastructure, tighter cost control and new products have driven accelerated revenue and gross profit growth. In the second quarter the company delivered high‑teens organic revenue growth, messaging excluding carrier fees up 18%, voice growth above 20% and double‑digit growth at Verify and Self‑Service. Non‑GAAP operating margins rose to around 20% and absolute gross profit grew for the fifth consecutive quarter, although percentage gross margins remain pressured by carrier fees and the revenue mix.
