Waypoint REIT reports H1 2026 profit growth, confirms dividend — shares slightly down

Waypoint REIT recorded a 3.4% increase in distributable earnings in the first half of 2026 to 8.59 AUD cents per share and a slightly higher net tangible asset value of 2.92 AUD. The company confirmed the annual dividend of 0.1714 AUD per share and reported strong tenant retention and positive rent reversion on lease renewals. Waypoint REIT reports stable growth and raises DEPS for H2 2025

Waypoint REIT recorded distribution-eligible earnings per security (DEPS) of AUD 0.1664 for H2 2025 (+1%). Rental income rose 2% and net tangible assets per security grew 5% to AUD 2.90. Gearing remained stable at 32.7% after extensive refinancing, and the group posted a net profit of over AUD 200 million. Management plans further asset disposals and is considering buybacks; DEPS for 2026 is forecast to rise 3% to AUD 0.1714.
