Webstep: revenue down 11% in second quarter after staff cuts and project losses

Webstep reported an 11% drop in revenue in the second quarter to NOK 190.4m, caused by a reduced workforce, intensified competition in the public sector and the completion or loss of several customer projects. EBIT fell to NOK 13.9m and the EBIT margin declined to 7.3% from 8.9% a year earlier. Operating cash flow was negatively affected by seasonal payment patterns and changed tax payment timings. Webstep ASA improves EBIT margin despite revenue decline in Q2 2025

Webstep ASA reports Q2 2025 revenue decline to NOK 215.0 million but maintained EBIT at NOK 19.0 million and raised the EBIT margin to 8.9%. The company cites a solid financial position with cash and an unused credit facility, has won several strategic framework agreements (including Statnett, BaneNOR, the Norwegian Tax Administration, and the Norwegian Offshore Directorate), and targets a mid-term EBIT margin of 10%.
