XP Power reports strong order growth and marked margin improvement in H1 2026

XP Power recorded a currency-adjusted order intake increase of 55% to £167.2m in H1 2026 and revenue of £109.1m (+2% currency-adjusted). Adjusted gross margin rose by 450 basis points to 45.9% and adjusted diluted earnings per share jumped to £0.142 (prior year £0.004). Adjusted operating profit was up 23% on a currency-adjusted basis to £8.6m; net debt stood at £47.7m. XP Power has granted share options under two remuneration plans to CEO Gavin Griggs (8,435 ordinary shares: 937 RSP, 7,498 LTIP) and CFO Matthew Webb (6,510 ordinary shares: 723 RSP, 5,787 LTIP). The exercise price is £0.01 per share; the number was calculated based on a five‑day average closing price of £15.66. RSP awards vest after five years with no performance conditions; LTIP awards are subject to performance over a three‑year period and lapse after five years. XP Power records highest order intake since Q3 2022

XP Power reported order intake of £79.1m in the first quarter, a currency-adjusted increase of 48% year-on-year and the strongest quarter since Q3 2022. Revenue was £51.8m (+3% currency-adjusted year-on-year, -16% sequentially) and the order book rose to £143.1m (+24% versus the prior quarter). The book-to-bill ratio was 1.53; net debt stood at £41.8m.
