BioLineRx reported second‑quarter revenue of $0.3m (unchanged) and an expanded net loss of $4.3m. Lead program GLIX1 advanced in a phase‑I/IIa study at three academic centers and has so far shown a favorable safety and tolerability profile; preclinical data indicate potential synergy with PARP inhibitors. At quarter‑end the company had $13.1m in cash, and pro‑forma liquidity after a $3.75m capital raise rose to about $16.85m, which should fund operations into the first half of 2027. The stock rose after the update but remains well below its 52‑week high. » More on de.investing.com

BioLineRx receives USPTO allowance notice for key patent on GLIX1
The USPTO has issued an allowance notice for a central patent covering GLIX1 that protects its use in tumors where cytidine deaminase is not highly overexpressed — which the company says applies to around 90% of all cancers. The patent strengthens IP protection for GLIX1 through at least 2040 with possible extensions, and accompanying international filings could provide protection until 2044. BioLineRx aims to start the first clinical trial in glioblastoma patients in early 2026 while advancing preclinical work in additional cancer models; the stock rose about 2% following the news. » More on de.investing.com
