Bobst reports significantly higher half-year loss and declining revenues
In the first half of 2026 Bobst recorded a significantly larger loss: revenue fell 12% to CHF 590 million and order intake dropped 11% to CHF 667 million. Volume and price effects (-CHF 54 million) and negative currency effects (-CHF 24 million) weighed on the figures. EBIT fell to -CHF 25.0 million (previous year +CHF 5.4 million), driven by an operating loss in the machinery division (-CHF 58.9 million), while service/spare parts contributed +CHF 34.7 million. The period loss amounted to CHF 33 million; Bobst expects 2026 revenue and results to be below the prior year but anticipates a stronger second half amid ongoing uncertainties. » More on finanzen.net
