BrasilAgro cuts 2026 loss thanks to recovery in soy and corn

BrasilAgro reported a net loss of 90m BRL for the fiscal year ended 30 June 2026, an improvement of 35% versus the prior year, on net revenue of 926m BRL and adjusted EBITDA of 100m BRL. Drivers were higher soy and corn yields, a portfolio valuation increase to 3.34bn BRL and operational efficiency from technology use; sugarcane and cotton remained weak. BrasilAgro reports 27% revenue decline in third quarter 2026 and posts loss

BrasilAgro reported net revenue of R$637.3m for the nine-month period through March 2026, a 27% decline year‑on‑year, and recorded a net loss of R$76.1m. Adjusted EBITDA fell 78% to R$42.8m, pressured by falling commodity prices (notably sugarcane -20%), higher operating input costs and negative fair‑value adjustments. The company highlights active hedging and strategic bulk purchases of inputs; liquidity remained solid with R$887m in cash and receivables from sales, while total debt rose to R$1,000.6m. BrasilAgro reports quarterly loss after farm sales fail to materialize and weak sugarcane harvest

BrasilAgro posted a net loss of R$64.3m for the first quarter to 30 September 2025, driven by absent proceeds from farm sales and a 19% decline in sugarcane production. Net revenue fell 37% to R$286.6m, and adjusted EBITDA dropped 62% to R$64.3m. Revenue declines were concentrated in the sugarcane business (‑22%) and cattle farming, while sales of soy, corn and cotton increased. The portfolio comprises 252,796 hectares and is internally valued at R$3.1bn; a Deloitte valuation shows R$3.5bn.
