Moody's raises Embraer rating to Baa2 and changes outlook to stable

Moody's upgraded Embraer's rating from Baa3 to Baa2 and moved the outlook from positive to stable. The action reflects improved credit metrics and conservative financial policy: adjusted gross debt fell to 2.4x by June 2026 (previously 3.6x) and adjusted operating margins rose to 9.0%. Embraer raises guidance after strong Q2 and pushes stock up in premarket

Embraer reported Q2 2026 EPS of $1.19 on revenue of $2.24 billion, substantially beating analyst estimates. Management raised the adjusted EBIT margin guidance for 2026 to 10.0–10.6% and doubled the free cash flow target to at least $400 million.
