Grindrod increases H1‑2026 EBITDA by 52% thanks to strong port business

Grindrod reports H1 2026 EBITDA of 884 million ZAR (+52%) and revenue growth of 19%, driven by the full consolidation of Matola TCM and record volumes at the port of Maputo (8.4 million tonnes, +29%). Adjusted profit remained unchanged at 593 million ZAR, while operating cash flow rose 28% to 561 million ZAR. The board approved an interim dividend of 0.243 ZAR per share (+66%); net cash stands at 535 million ZAR with additional borrowing capacity of 4–5 billion ZAR.
