H&T Group shareholders approve takeover by FirstCash subsidiary

Shareholders of H&T Group PLC have overwhelmingly approved the takeover by Chess Bidco Limited, a subsidiary of FirstCash Holdings. The transaction, which was first announced in May, is still subject to court and regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2025.
