Luxshare holds 74.9% of Leoni

The Chinese electronics manufacturer Luxshare has increased its stake in Leoni to 74.9%. Twenty-five point one percent remains with Austrian entrepreneur Stefan Pierer. Leoni completes majority sale to Luxshare and secures financial stability

Luxshare-ICT has acquired a 50.1 percent stake in Leoni, finalizing the sale agreed upon in September 2024. According to Stefan Pierer, the transaction strengthens Leoni's financial stability and enables further growth, while Pierer retains a 49.9 percent stake. The company was formerly known as Leonische Drahtwerke AG and changed its name to LEONI AG in 1999. The company was founded in 1569 and is headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany.
