According to two brokerages, BYD is aiming for over 2.5 million overseas deliveries in 2027, supported by market share gains, a growing fleet of its own car carriers and new factories. BYD is reportedly considering an order worth around $1 billion for additional car carriers to logistically secure rapidly rising overseas sales. Between January and August 2026, exports rose 85.7% to about 1.16 million vehicles, while domestic sales fell by roughly one third.
