Sunway Healthcare to raise 2.9 billion ringgit ($736m) in IPO
Sunway Healthcare plans to raise 2.9 billion ringgit by selling up to 1.97 billion shares at 1.45 ringgit each in an IPO that opened Feb 27, with retail subscriptions closing March 5 and institutional allocations on March 6. The listing on Bursa Malaysia is set to begin March 18 and values the company at 16.7 billion ringgit, making it Malaysia's second-largest healthcare group after IHH Healthcare. Proceeds will partly fund expansion and three new hospitals, increasing capacity by about 72% to 3,400 beds by 2032, including a 401-bed project in Johor. » More on forbes.com
