Wistron priced 25 million global depositary receipts at $58.88 each, equivalent to 250 million new common shares (about 7.29% of outstanding shares) and roughly a 5.5% discount to the prior close, raising about $1.47 billion to fund purchases of raw materials in foreign currencies. The announcement sent Wistron shares down more than 6% despite a roughly 23% year-to-date gain. Wistron has started operations at a roughly $700 million factory in Fort Worth, Texas, and begun volume production of NVIDIA's GB300 superchip; the Vera Rubin superchip is also slated to be produced there in the future. The facility uses NVIDIA compute, models such as Nemotron and Cosmos, and Omniverse and Metropolis libraries to simulate factory design and production processes via a digital twin.
