3i Infrastructure sells TCR for €1.1bn and commits €300m to Lefdal Mine datacenter
3i Infrastructure completed the sale of TCR for €1.1 billion, delivering a 3.5x money multiple and a 19% p.a. IRR over ten years. The company committed about €300 million for a majority stake in Norway’s Lefdal Mine Datacenter, an entirely renewable‑powered campus with 80 MW fully let on 10‑year availability contracts and expansion potential to 200 MW, which management says will be materially accretive. 3i expects the equity value of its DNS:NET German fiber investment to be zero at year‑end after debt financing for rollouts evaporated; management and lenders are engaged on next steps. Following the TCR exit and planned investments, 3i anticipates a pro forma net cash position around £200 million and remains on track for its 8%–10% target return and a full‑year dividend of £0.1345 per share. » More on finance.yahoo.com
