Adagene partners with Incyte to test muzastotug–INCA33890 combo in MSS colorectal cancer
Adagene will provide muzastotug (ADG126) for a Phase 1 combination trial with Incyte’s INCA33890 targeting MSS colorectal cancer, planned to start in 2026 and focusing on third-line patients with and without liver metastases. Adagene reports 31% response rate in phase‑1b/2 study of Muzastotug in colorectal cancer
Adagene released updated data from its phase‑1b/2 study of Muzastotug plus pembrolizumab in microsatellite‑stable colorectal cancer without liver metastases: in the combined 20 mg/kg cohorts a confirmed overall response rate of 31% was achieved versus 13% in the 10 mg/kg cohorts (data set: 67 patients). Median progression‑free survival was 6.7 months (20 mg/kg) versus 4.8 months (10 mg/kg); the one‑year survival rate was 80.8% and 70.1%, respectively. Safety data showed a discontinuation rate of 4%, no dose‑limiting toxicities and no treatment‑related grade‑4/5 events; grade‑3 adverse events occurred in 15% (10 mg/kg) and 38% (20 mg/kg). The FDA has granted Muzastotug plus pembrolizumab fast‑track status; a randomized phase‑2 trial is recruiting and results are expected in H1 2027. Despite the progress, Adagene remains unprofitable with a market capitalization of $217m, and the stock rose sharply last year. » More on de.investing.com
