Adlai Nortye treats first patient in phase‑I study with AN4035

Adlai Nortye has treated the first patient with the antibody–drug conjugate AN4035 in Australia, thereby starting a global phase‑I study for CEACAM5‑enriched, RAS‑dependent solid tumors. The FDA issued a study‑may‑proceed decision for the IND, allowing the trial to be expanded to the US, and an application to the National Medical Products Administration in China is planned. AN4035 delivers a pan‑RAS(ON) inhibitor and will be evaluated in the study for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and preliminary efficacy as monotherapy and in combination with cetuximab.
