  • ASM International stock falls sharply after AI fears and technical sell-off

ASM International’s share tumbles about 6.6% to an intraday low near €775, well below the 52-week high of €1,092.50. The decline was triggered by sector-wide selling in AI-related semiconductor stocks after calls from OpenAI and Anthropic to slow AI development, and by a technical break below the medium-term uptrend.
