Athabasca Oil: Q2 production falls to 32,110 boe/d after planned turnarounds
Athabasca Oil reported second-quarter production of 32,110 boe/d versus 39,088 boe/d a year earlier, impacted by planned plant turnarounds in thermal oil recovery (ââ7,200 boe/d). Adjusted funds flow was $123m ($0.25 per share) and operating cash flow $134m; capital expenditures were $84m. Company production in July was about 40,000 boe/d, and Athabasca also sold 7,800 bpd from inventory; net cash stood at $62m with liquidity of $826m.
