Atlas Salt: financing crucial for Great Atlantic Salt Project

Atlas Salt presents its Great Atlantic Salt Project as a potential first new North American salt mine in roughly 30 years, targeting annual production of 4 million tonnes (about 10% of the North American de-icing salt market). The feasibility study envisions capital expenditures of CAD 589 million and average annual after-tax free cash flow of CAD 188 million, with a shallow, dry deposit and a nearby deep-water port expected to reduce capital and operating costs. The company was formerly known as Red Moon Resources Inc. and changed its name to Atlas Salt Inc. in August 2021. Atlas Salt Inc. was incorporated in 2011 and is headquartered in St. John's, Canada.
